Springfield Raceway set for March 10 opener

The Springfield Raceway will kick off the dirt track season in Southwest Missouri on Saturday, March 10, with the annual March Madness event.

USRA Modifieds and Out-Pace USRA B Mods will be competing for $1,000 to win in each division, and this season’s opening event will offer Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series national points in both classes.

Action will also feature the Comp Cams Super Late Model Series, Midwest Modifieds, INEX Legends Cars and Pure Stocks.

Pit gates will open at 1:30 while the grandstands open at 4:30. Hot laps start at 5 with racing action to begin at 5:30 on the racy quick quarter-mile.

Grandstand admission will be $20 with kids 12 and under free. Pit passes are $40 or $15 for kids ages 6-12.
