Out-Pace USRA B-Mod drivers competed against a determined and talented field of 28 teams registered for a night of racing for the $500 to-win special event. During the four qualifying heat races, Kameron Grindstaff grabbed the opening heat race win, Jake Richards charged to the second heat race checkers then in heat three Jacob Ebert hung on and earned heat win. Then Moody, driving for Bobby Russell, grabbed the final heat race of the night. During the last chance "B" Main, Ed Noll, Cody Brill, Shad Badder, Brian Webster, Jace Gay, Jake Callahan, Johnny McGinnis and Leroy Morrison qualified for the 24-car feature field.

The feature commenced with Grindstaff out front until Moody used the high side to slide past him and claimed the top spot. Richards, Ebert and Chad Staus were close and in contention in the top-five. Staus had the bad luck when Callahan broke in front of him and Staus had no place to maneuver around him which caused extensive damage to both cars. Staus and Callahan pulled off for the night as Moody kept Richards, Ebert and then Steve Clancy Jr. behind him. On the final lap Clancy dove hard into the low-side but Moody prevailed to claim the Out-Pace USRA B-Mod feature on night one. Clancy followed by Ebert, Richards and from the "B" Main Brill started 18th and finished fifth to complete the top five.

Jim Moody won the Out-Pace USRA B-Mod feature.
