Tyler Wolff won the USRA Modified feature.

The 47th consecutive season of points racing at Tri-State Speedway is now complete at the famous high banks in Pocola, Okla. Seventy-two cars checked in, and Mother Nature provided the area with a few morning showers, but those cleared out and temperatures were around the 90-degree mark at 7 p.m. After the sun set, the temperatures dropped into a more comfortable lower 80s.

The Out-Pace USRA B-Mod feature saw Aaron Scroggins of Neosho, Mo., make his first trip to victory lane this season. Last week’s winner, Daniel Tarkington of Checotah, took home second place over Dustin’s Dream driver Dean Green of Siloam Springs, Ark.

The USRA Modifieds took to the high banks for their feature, and Tyler Wolff of Fayetteville, Ark., crossed the line first for his first win of the season as teammate R. C. Whitwell of Tucson, Ariz., finished in second over Logan Robertson of Shamrock, Texas,

This week wrapped up the 47th consecutive year for the hard-fought points that culminate in a track championship. Congratulations to 2017 Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series track champions Lonny Flanagan of Rudy, Ark. (Out-Pace USRA B-Mods) and Trevor Latham of Rogers, Ark. (USRA Modifieds. A big thank you goes out to all our weekly competitors who battled it out on the high-banks all season long. Details will be announced soon for the 47th Annual Awards Banquet.
