Out-Pace USRA B-Mods saw a familiar face in victory lane Friday night at the U.S. 36 Raceway as Tim Eaton won both his heat and feature on this night of competition. Steve Starmer finished an impressive second holding Doug Keller to end the night third. Fourth place saw the other heat winner, Chris Wright, with Josh Munsen placing fifth.

Holley USRA Stock Cars witnessed great racing action from green to checkered flag with side-by-side competition. Heat winner Brad Whitney took the front and never relinquished it, picking up his third win of 2017 at the U.S. 36 Raceway. Greg Keuhn tried high and low to find a way around Whitney to no avail and had to settle for a second-place finish on this night. Alvie Christofferson moved to the front, challenging and finishing third with Aaron Sauter finding the fast line and placing fourth. Thomas Roberts again proved to be fast, notching another top five finish. The other heat race winner was Greg Gilbert, who developed mechanical issues and taking him from winning contention.

USRA Modifieds were low in number but very high in quality as Mark Dotson and Zach Sanders squared off in the front of the field. The heat race belonged to Sanders as he launched to the front on the feature start and appeared to be the car to beat, holding a slight advantage over Dotson. Midway through the feature, Sanders broke a front shock and Dotson took advantage, moving to the lead. Dotson never looked back and pick up the feature win, holding Sanders to finish second. Shayne Bailey moved past traffic, placing third with Clay Hale finishing an impressive fourth. John Hanson had his best run to date at U.S. 36 Raceway placing a strong fifth.
