Bumper Jones won his fourth straight USRA Modified feature.

No USRA Modified driver picked up the $1,000 bounty Saturday as Bumper Jones scored his fourth straight victory at the Southern New Mexico Speedway.

Thirteen Holley USRA Stock Cars checked in. Asa Flores led the first two laps of the 20-lap feature with Jamie Torres getting around him to steal the lead. Asa Flores, Donovan Flores and Victor Colobrio battled three-wide for runner-up while Torres worked a bigger lead. Torres won by a straight-away.

Thirty-two USRA Modifieds checked in for battle as the $1,000 bounty was still on Bumper Jones. Butch Reid Jr. started on the pole and had the money in his hands until Jones got around him for the lead on lap three after starting fifth. Jones ran away with Christy Barnett fast on the bottom and battling Reid for second. Cautions flew down the road with Jones having to defend the lead and streak after three late cautions forced a one-lap dash to the finish. Nothing stopped Jones, however, as he got his fourth straight win in the division.

Christy Barnett won the Casa Nissan All-Star Race for USRA Modifieds.

The $1,000-to-win, 15-lap Casa Nissan All-Star Race was a good one. Reid led the first laps with Jones working his way to third on lap three after starting last (tenth). Reid then broke into a straight-away lead over the field with Barnett on his tail. A caution flew with three laps to go and Jones took the lead with two laps to go. Barnett got around Reid for second and, coming to the checkered flag, Jones over shot turn four and Barnett would win the All Sas able to capitalize and win the Casa Nissan All-Star Race on a crazy finish.
