USRA Modifieds race for $1,000 to win March 18 at Springfield

It is time for dirt rrack racing to fire back up right here in the Ozarks all over again, and the Springfield Raceway will be right where you should be.

USRA Modifieds will be racing for $1,000 to win and $100 to start $40 while Out-Pace USRA B-Mods shoot for a a $500 top prize and $50 to start.

Both classes will earn points in the Summit Racing USRA Weekly Racing Series.

Headlining the program will be the MARS Late Models with Midwest Modz, Legends Cars and Pure Stocks also in action.

Friday, March 17, will be a test 'n' tune session from 6-8 p.m. and open to any and all race cars. Pit passes will be $25.

On Saturday, the pit gate opens at 2 p.m., grandstands open at 4:30, hot laps begin at 5 and racing goes green at 5:30.

Adult tickets are $20 , kids ages 6-2 are $5 and children ages 5 and under get in for free. Pit passes are $35.
