Victory Lane magazine supplying boost to Lucas Oil Speedway mid-season champs

The popular Victory Lane "Track Action Race Review" weekly magazine distributed throughout the season at Lucas Oil Speedway is helping boost the bonus for Midseason Track Champions.

The "Geared Up Program" will reward leaders in the Big Adventure RV Weekly Racing Series points at the conclusion of the June 24 program with a $1,000 donation from Victory Lane to be split among the four points leader.

In addition, Lucas Oil Speedway is matching that $1,000 total of bonus money so the leaders in the Warsaw Auto Marine & RV ULMA Late Models, Pitts Homes USRA Modifieds, Big O Tires Street Stocks and the Ozark Golf Cars USRA B-Mods each will receive a $500 bonus.

"We love racing, every aspect of it," said Victory Lane Editor Debra M. Filkins. "I would like to thank all the sponsors and supporters of the 2017 season."

Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Dan Robinson added that Filkins' Victory Lane publication has become popular for fans each week. The free publication recaps the previous week's action and includes feature stories on drivers plus previews of upcoming events.

"We're happy to partner with Debra and Victory Lane to give our drivers a nice bonus to shoot for at our Midseason Championships," Robinson said. "We appreciate what Debra does and look forward to partnering with her in the 'Geared up Program' in 2017."

Filkins said Victory Lane encourages fans to participate with its "Fan It Up" program. To do so, email a "selfie" to VictoryLane417@gmail.com and include your name, favorite driver and what you like about Lucas Oil Speedway. Then watch for the "Fan It Up" section in upcoming Victory Lane issues.

The 2017 Lucas Oil Speedway schedule begins with the Big Adventure RV Weekly Racing Series opener on April 8.

Lucas Oil Speedway is located at Highways 83 and 54 in Wheatland, Missouri. A campground with shower and bathroom facilities is also available. With it's entrance located just outside the pit gate this sprawling scenic camping facility will continue to enhance the racing experience at the Diamond of Dirt Tracks.
