YELLVILLE, Ark.—North Central Arkansas Speedway resumed the Friday night race program this evening after rain again wiped out the scheduled program one week ago, and the fans in attendance were treated to another exciting night of racing.

The USRA B-Mod feature got underway with John Briggs and Jason Snodgrass side by side as the starting green flag waved. Briggs pinned his car to the very bottom of the track as he took the early lead and Bobby Ratteree moved past Snodgrass on the first cycle of the feature race to hold the second spot on the score sheet. Hunter Duren ran fourth until a lap nine pass on Snodgrass moved him into the third spot. After getting past Snodgrass Duren set his sights on Ratteree and closed on the top two cars as the final laps clicked past, and Ratteree spent the closing circuits searching for a faster line around the speedway then the leader Briggs. With the white flag in the air Ratteree closed quickly on the leader entering turns one and two and with a good run off of turn two dove to the very bottom of the track entering turns three and four inside of Briggs. Briggs was able to exit turn four with more momentum and took the checkered flag side-by-side and less then a half car-length in front of Ratteree who finished second as Duren crossing the line in third.

Racing action continues this Friday night July 1st, featuring a Hobby Stock dash for cash where the fan vote will determine the four car field as all five divisions will be in action on the track.

North Central Arkansas Speedway is located between Yellville and Flippin on Hwy. 62-412. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and those with a military ID, $5 for those ages 7 through 15 with 6 and under getting in free.
