Chateau Raceway loses another night to rain

LANSING, Minn.—After two weeks off because of cold, rainy spring-like weather, it looked like action would resume Friday night at Chateau Raceway in Lansing.

A sunny day and summertime temperatures in the 90s most of the day gave way to gray skies and more rain and Mother Nature claimed a third straight race night.

There have been just three nights of racing so far this season while poor weather has claimed five nights since the season opener ran. Including the two-week delay to the start of the season by weather conditions, that makes it seven nights lost so far this year.
