Jauregui triumphs in Casa Nissan Spring Fling opener at Western Tech Speedway Park

EL PASO, Texas—Thursday's opener for the Casa Nissan Spring Fling at the Western Tech Speedway Park was the first race of the season for the Out-Pace USRA B-Mods and they were ready to roll for their 20-lap main event.

From the fourth starting spot, Mingo Jauregui of El Paso took down the victory by holding off eighth-starting Noah Hollingshead of Las Cruces. Paddy Rush was third, John Carney came from 11th on the grid to finish fourth and ageless Sherman Barnett rounded out the top five finishers.

The 2nd Annual Casa Nissan Spring Fling continues Friday and Saturday at the Western Tech Speedway Park.
