Monett Speedway readies for 47th season

MONETT, Mo.—Monett Speedway will be holding a practice session on Friday, April 1, at 6 p.m. for Late Models, USRA Modifieds, Out-Pace USRA B-Mods, Midwest Mods, Pro-4s and Pure Stocks. The following weekend will be the first race of the season on Friday, April 8.

The 47th season of Monett Speedway features many big dates and promotions:

April 29 - MARS 10th Annual John Kuntz Memorial
May 13 -  $5 Night
May 29 - MARS 16th annual Tony Roper Memorial
June 3 - Kids Bicycle Races
July 3 - MARS
July 29 -  Kids Bicycle Races
Aug. 7 - Hunt for the USMTS Casey's Cup
Aug. 19 - Hall of Fame/Season Championships

The 3/8 mile clay oval will feature many local racers in various classes.  Information on the classes that will be running that weekend can be found at the Monett Speedway website.
