HARTFORD, S.D.—USRA B-Mod fans were delighted to see a late-season 24-car field Saturday night at the I-90 Speedway. Chris Goetz led the first seven laps from the pole before Dave Kennedy was able to zip by. Shortly after, Goetz was sent to the back after his involvement in an incident with Curt Ahlers and Brock Hess.

Kennedy showed off his car's strength in getting to the front and staying there. He led the final eight laps to chalk up his third win. Hess came from 10th to second while Ahlers was third.

Looking ahead to the season's final night next Saturday, Sept. 5, Dennis Martin has a 38-point lead over defending USRA B-Mod track champion Tim Dann in the hunt for the 2015 title.

The USRA Hobby Stock class has been highlighted by a new batch of drivers who have brought it to the next level this year. It's a big reason why nobody has won more than two features this year. Add the name of Michael Pechous to that list.

Pechous inherited the lead from Andrew Siemonsma after seven laps. Dustin Gulbrandson made several attempts to pass Pechous on the inside but Pechous was in the midst of his best race of the season and couldn't be beat. His win was his first in a Hobby Stock. It was also his first trip to victory lane in over three years when he last won in a Super Charger.
