Tesch beats 22-car field for I-90 Speedway USRA B-Mod win

HARTFORD, S.D.—Tyler Tesch out-raced a 22-car USRA B-Mod field to claim Saturday night's feature win at the I-90 Speedway. Tesch started sixth, and he got by Chris Goetz on the fourth lap and led the final 12 circuits.

Miah Christensen moved up from 13th to second. Dennis Martin gained five positions to finish third.

The red flag was used twice in the feature. An accident took out Adam Sage and Rodney Cook on the third lap. Both drivers were okay. Later, Doug Wallis pulled his car off the track's back stretch as the fire truck responded.

Mike Chaney worked hard to pull off a USRA Hobby Stock feature win. Chaney started seventh, passed Tracy Halouska on the fourth lap, and then beat Tim Waltner and Dustin Gulbrandson to the finish line.

"It was a great track. You could go high, low, anywhere," said Chaney.

Racing continues on Saturday, July 18. Hot laps begin at 6:30 p.m. with racing at 7:00. Also coming soon is the USRA Hobby Stock Nationals with the Progressive Jackpot on Aug. 8. Go to www.i90speedway.com for more information.
