HARTFORD, S.D.--Dennis Martin and green-white-checkered finishes are probably not on friendly terms after Saturday night's USRA B-Mod feature at I-90 Speedway. Martin, who had taken the lead from Tyler Tesch on the seventh lap, was on his way to taking the checkered flag when Tim Dann spun on the final lap to bring out a caution.

On the green-white-checkered finish, Miah Christensen went to the outside to pull even with Martin. Unfortunately, Martin spun on the final lap in the same spot that claimed Dann. The next green-white-checkered finish saw Thor Anderson take a run at Christensen, but Christensen held on for the win which gave him wins on back-to-back nights.

Opening night saw 26 USRA Hobby Stocks sign up for battle. Chad Lonneman outlasted Derrick Scott and Mike Chaney as the three drivers broke away from the rest of the pack and gave the fans a great show. Lonneman led all 12 laps for his first-ever win at I-90 Speedway.

Defending USRA Hobby Stock National Champion Dustin Gulbrandson tagged the rear of the field after an early visit to the work area. He raced his way back up to fourth when the race was checkered. Michael Pechous won an earlier B-Main.

I-90 Speedway welcomes the Midwest Sprint Touring Series for 360 Sprint Cars for the first of two appearances this season on Saturday, May 9. The brand new touring series will race along with all five of I-90 Speedway's Paramount Racing Series classes on "Dirt Bowl" night.
