TOPEKA, Kan. -- Jared Rogers of Berryton, Kan., scored the victory Saturday in the USRA Modified main event at the Heartland Park Topeka. Tyler Davis, Josh Everhart, Ryan Phillips and Tom Grist rounded out the top five finishers.

In USRA Stock Car action, Lecompton's Jim Powell Jr. held off Steve Herrick and USRA national points leader Brett Heeter for the win, with Jake Newman and Phil Snodgrass getting the fourth- and fifth-place finishing positions.

Jay Bailey of Lyndon came out on top of a wild USRA B-Mod feature with Derek Huffman coming home in the runner-up spot. Tracy Schaefer, Jeff Mauro and Brian Murphy were third, fourth and fifth, respectively.

All three winners Saturday night came from the third starting spot.
