Lasiter tops USRA Stock Cars, Rush inherits USRA B-Mod win at El Paso Speedway Park

EL PASO, Texas -- It was another upset for Alamogordo, N.M., driver Jon McDaniel Friday night at the El Paso Speedway Park as he led the USRA Stock Car race with Justin Lasiter coming fast, but a yellow waved for Lasiter as he spun out as he was about to pass McDaniel.

Then, right when the caution flew, McDaniel pulled of the track. He pulled back on the track just as the feature went back under green and he and Lasiter went back to their original race for the lead with Lasiter eventually winning the main event.

In the USRA B-Mods it was just a Duane Murphy show as his #49 machine was faster than ever. Murphy was the winner until he hit the tech area where he was disqualified for not having a restricter plate.

Runner-up Paddy Rush inherited the win.
