Smith sweeps USRA Modifieds at RPM Speedway

CRANDALL, Texas -- A win in his heat race win and the main event gave Charlie Smith a clean sweep of the USRA Modified action Friday night at the RPM Speedway.

Chaz Exum led the first lap before Smith blasted into the lead on lap 2 and then proceeded to pace the final 19 laps to the finish.

Bobby Ruffin finished second, followed by Steve McMackin, Justin Ingalls and Lee McCullough.

Racing continues next Friday, May 3, with hot laps at 7:30 p.m. and racing at 8 p.m.

On tap will be double features for the USRA Modifieds plus Factory Stocks, Limited Mods, Street Stocks and the North Texas STARS Series.
