Cowtown Speedway winner gets $750 this Saturday

KENNEDALE, Texas -- This week at the Cowtown Speedway will pay $750 to win the USRA Modified main event.

Other specials this Saturday, Aug. 11, will be $1 hot dogs and back to school give-aways for the kids.

Other classes in action include ASCS North Texas Non-Winged Mini-Sprints, 305 Sprint Cars, Limited Mods, Factory Stocks and Street Stocks.

Pits open at 4 p.m., grandstands open at 5, hot laps begin at 6:30 and the first race starts at 7 p.m.

Adult grandstand tickets are $10, kids (5-11) are $5 and children under 5 get in for free. Pit passes are $25.

The Cowton Speedway is a high-banked 1/4-mile clay oval located off of I-20 at exit 442-A, then 1.7 miles southeast on Mansfield Hwy., then 1.4 miles southwest on New Hope Rd. For more information call 817-917-8562 or check out www.cowtownspeedway.com online.
