Willamette Speedway cancels Topless Showdown

LEBANON, Ore. -- The Willamette Speedway lost the Saturday, June 30, Topless Showdown to rain. The track will not be out of action for too long as they are expected to get in the Firecracker 40 on Wednesday. July 4. The race will mark the first time ever the Interstate Sprint Car Series will make a visit to the historic 1/3 mile oval. USRA Modifieds and Mini Trucks will be on hand for the Independence Day event and it will all be completed with a fantastic fireworks display.

The week doesn’t slow down much as Friday July 6th is the next scheduled Kart event and Saturday July 7th will be the Willamette 100. DirtCar Super Late Models, USRA Modifieds and Sportsman will be on hand for that event while the Late Models and Modifieds will both run one hundred lap features.
