Cayden Carter topped the USRA Karl Performance Parts B-Mod feature race for his second win in a row.

OSKALOOSA, Iowa -- American Racer USRA Weekly Racing Series action resumed Wednesday night, June 8, at the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, Iowa, featuring USRA RHS Modifieds, USRA Karl Chevrolet Stock Cars, USRA Karl Performance Parts B-Mods and USRA Hobby Stocks.

In the USRA Hobby Stock main event, Nick Ulin of Agency held off Dustin Griffiths of Ottumwa for the win. Oskaloosa drivers Steve Allen, Kris Walker and Justin Hook rounded out the top 5 finishers.

After starting tenth in the field, Oskaloosa’s Cayden Carter topped the USRA Karl Performance Parts B-Mod feature race for his second win in a row. Bill Gibson of Knoxville battled to checkers but settled for the runner-up position with Carter VanDenBerg an Curtis Van Der Wahl of Oskaloosa in third and fourth, and Mike Wanders of Keswick fifth.

The USRA Karl Chevrolet Stock Car feature saw Shane Weller of Agency put another notch in his belt with a victory over defending track champion Nathan Wood of Keswick. Kyle Harwood of Oskaloosa was third, veteran Steve Jackson of Polk City took fourth and Carl Yaw of Des Moines wound up fifth.

Steven Blattler made it two wins on the night for hometown drivers as he topped the USRA RHS Modified nightcap. The defending track champion beat Packwood’s Scott Dickey to the finish line with Ron Ver Beek of Oskaloosa, Greg Cox of Altoona and Brandon Banks of Washington completing the top 5.

All four divisions will be back in action next Wednesday, June 15, for another round of American Racer USRA Weekly Racing Series at the Mahaska County Monster.
