Summit USMTS/USRA Southern Nationals set for November 5-7 at RPM Speedway
Sunoco USRA Factory Stock and USRA Limited Mod competitors will battle at the 3rd Annual Summit USMTS/USRA Southern Nationals at the RPM Speedway in Crandall, Texas, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, November 5-7.
Those two classes will be joined by the fire-breathing USMTS Modifieds all three nights with the USRA Tuners joining the party Friday and Saturday.
Fans seeking that final fast fix before winter begins to creep in will see some incredible action all three days with a complete program of qualifying heat races and feature events each night.
Sunoco USRA Factory Stocks and USRA Limited Mods will both be competing for $1,000 to win Thursday, $1,250 to win Friday and $1,500 to win Saturday.
Meanwhile, USMTS drivers will battle for a $2,000 top prize Thursday while Friday’s winner gets $3,000. Saturday’s championship finale pays $5,000 to win.
The event will kick off with an open practice on Wednesday, November 4, from 6-8:30 p.m., and is currently slated to be the only night for hot laps. Pits open at 2 p.m. and the drivers meeting is slated for 5:30. Pit passes are $20 or $15 for kids ages 6-10.
On Thursday and Friday, general admission spectator tickets are $20 for those ages 17 and older. Kids (6-11), juniors (12-16), seniors (62+) and members of the military get in for $15. Pit passes are $40 for everybody 11 and older or a three-day pit pass will be available for $110. Pit passes for kids (6-10) are $20.
On Saturday, general admission spectator tickets are $25 for those ages 17 and older. Juniors (12-16), seniors (62+) and members of the military get in for $20 while kids (6-11) are just $5. Pit passes are $40 for everybody 11 and older. Pit passes for kids (6-10) are $25.
There is no charge for grandstand seating or pit passes for children under 6 years of age any day.
The pits open at 2 p.m., the drivers meeting starts at 5:30 and racing gets underway at 6 p.m. all three days. However, if the high temperature is more than 70 degrees any day, all times are one half-hour later that day.

RULES & PROCEDURES
USRA rules apply for Factory Stocks and Limited Mods. USMTS rules apply for Modifieds. USMTS and USRA licenses are recommended but not required. Draw for heat race starting spot ends 15 minutes before hot laps begin. Qualifying for A-Main by heat race passing points and B-Main(s). RACEceivers and AMB transponders mandatory and available for rent or purchase. USRA national points and true car count bonus (minimum 60) each night for Factory Stocks and Limited Mods. USMTS national points each night for Modifieds.
Provisionals: will be added to the A-Main each night to the two drivers highest in national points that fail to qualify for the A-Main (must be licensed to be eligible). No additional points are awarded to other provisionals that may be added to the starting lineup by the event promoter.
Mandatory Decals: American Racer, Mesilla Valley Transportation and Summit Racing Equipment decals are required for all three classes. USRA competitors are also required to display the MSD and USRA logo decals. The Sunoco Racing Fuels decal is required for Factory Stocks. USMTS competitors are also required to display the Casey's, Super Clean and USMTS logo decals. Other decals may be required for points funds or contingency awards from those sponsors.
The RPM Speedway is a 1/4-mile semi-banked dirt oval located southeast of Crandall on US 175 E to CR 4106 (Bud Stoy Rd. exit) to the intersection of CR 4104.
