Defending USRA B-Mod national champion Kris Jackson of Lebanon used a caution on lap 11 to close ground on leader Tyler Knudtson and then took the top spot on the 14th lap for his fourth feature win Friday night at the Lebanon Midway Speedway.

Jackson had to work hard in his win as he started 11th alongside current track points leader Dillon McCowan.

Dustin Atkinson took the opening lead as Knudtson and Sam Petty followed closely. On lap 2 Knudtson found the high side to his liking to take the lead as Petty followed on the low side with Atkinson dropping to third. Meanwhile, former track champion Michael Stake was in the hunt.

With Knudtson and Petty battling up front, Jackson popped up on the leaderboard, moving into fifth by lap 6 as McCowan was working traffic to get to the front. Jackson moved around Petty on lap 8 and tried to close ground on Knudtson while Stake, Petty and McCowan had a tight battle for third as Austin Seets was moving through the pack.

Caution waved on lap 11 as Sam McDaniel slowed on the front stretch, closing the pack even tighter. On the restart, Knudtson pulled away but Jackson began his charge to the lead and grabbed control on lap 14 while McCowan moved into third over Petty.

Just as Jackson pulled some ground, the final caution waved on lap 17 as Seets came to a halt with issues. This allowed Knudtson and McCowan a final shot as Knudtson picked the top lane for the restart. Jackson fired quickly on the restart as Knudtson and McCowan and Petty were looking for more spots.

Jackson was able to use this restart to pull away and grab the win followed by Knudtson, MvCowan, Petty and Brian Myers.

Presented by S&S U-Pull-It Auto Parts & Recycling, USRA B-Mods will be back in action along with a full racing program on Friday, August 14, with racing at 8 p.m.

Drivers are gearing up for the $5,600-to-win TJR Factory 56 USRA B-Mod Nationals September 9-12 with over $30,000 in prize money on the line.
