Davis, Artherton, Hancock capture Randy Wheeler Classic wins

KELLYVILLE, Okla. (May 3, 2025)—Creek County Speedway hosted an electrifying Saturday night of racing with the Randy Wheeler Classic, featuring the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series.
Chad Davis of Sapulpa, Okla., Colby Artherton and Cale Hancock claimed victories in the USRA Modified, USRA B-Mod and USRA Tuner divisions, respectively, thrilling fans with intense competition.
Davis captured his second win of the season in the USRA Modified A Feature, leading from the pole. James Reed of Oklahoma City secured second, followed by Robert Scott of Sand Springs in third.
Greg Skaggs of Coweta—the 2009 USRA Modified National Champion—charged to fourth from the 16th starting spot after advancing from the B Feature, and Ho Dean of Tulsa rounded out the top five.
Brandon Dean of Sapulpa remains the division’s points leader despite an 18th-place finish.
The USRA B-Mod A Feature saw Colby Artherton of Bartlesville take the checkered flag. Kort Morgan of Muskogee finished second, with Nathan Hagar of Adair in third. Kyle Goforth of Shawnee claimed fourth, and Racen Stacy of Muskogee completed the top five.
Cale Hancock of Collinsville dominated the USRA Tuner main event, earning his third win in four starts this season and solidifying his lead in the national points standings. Racer Costello of Waukomis took second, followed by Mallorie Wasserman of Adair in third.
Creek County Speedway’s next event will be Sand Springs, Berryhill & Mannford Night on Saturday, May 10, featuring the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series with USRA Modifieds, USRA B-Mods and USRA Tuners. Residents of Sand Springs, Berryhill or Mannford with a valid U.S.-issued ID or driver’s license will receive free grandstand admission.
