The engines are ready to roar as the Pritchard Family Auto Stores Mason City Motor Speedway hosts its season-opening Frost Buster event this Sunday, April 13.

Race fans and adrenaline junkies alike are in for a thrilling day as the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series takes center stage, featuring an action-packed lineup of USRA Modifieds, USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods, USRA Hobby Stocks, USRA Tuners and Outlaw Mini-Mods.

The event marks the official start of the 2025 racing season at the renowned speedway, promising fierce competition and family-friendly excitement.

Gates swing open early, with the pits welcoming crews at 2 p.m. and grandstands opening for spectators at 3. The pit meeting is scheduled for 4, followed by hot laps at 4:15. The green flag drops for racing at 4:30.

Affordable ticket prices ensure everyone can join the fun. Adult general admission is set at $15, with seniors enjoying a discounted rate of $12. Juniors ages 12-18 get in free with a valid high school ID, and kids 11 and under are also free when accompanied by an adult.

For those wanting a closer look at the action, pit passes are available for $35 or $20 for kids ages 6-10. Note that anyone 17 and under must have a signed minor release to enter the pits.
