Hancock tops Dirt Down in T-Town
Cale Hancock of Collinsville, Okla., clinched the top spot in the USRA Tuners feature at the Osage Casino Hotel Tulsa Speedway during the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series event on Thursday.
Hancock, starting from the third position, overtook the competition to secure first place in the evening's feature race for the Dirt Down in T-Townpresented by Car-Mart, which padded the purse for the USRA Tuners.
Anthony Smith of Claremore, Okla., finishing a strong second after starting from the pole position. John Campbell from Eucha, Okla., rounded out the podium in third place after starting sixth.
The race also highlighted remarkable performances by Braxton Brownlee of Weleetka, Okla., who fought from ninth to claim fourth, and Joshua Deason from Colcord, Okla., who held steady to finish fifth.
