14th Annual Greiner Buildings Stock Car Shootout
The 14th Annual Greiner Buildings Stock Car Shootout presented by Mike’s Tire & Alignment and PBM Performance Products was held on Wednesday night, July 4, at the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, Iowa. The USRA Stock Car main event went to Zack VanderBeek, taking his second win of the night and capping off an outstanding performance with the $2,000 top prize. view photos

The USRA Casey's General Stores Weekly Racing Series at the Southern Iowa Speedway featured four classes with the night being sponsored by Pro-Line Buildings of New Sharon, along with the "Preacher Feature" on the card. Simpson held off his brother and current USRA Late Model national points leader, Chad Simpson, for the win while Chris Smyser finished third. Racing action at the Southern Iowa Speedway was held Wednesday night despite Mother Nature, who tried three times to spoil the action but couldn't get the job done.
