Winter Meltdown rescheduled for April 9-10

The return of the popular Winter Meltdown for USRA Modifieds, which was scheduled to return to the Vado Speedway Park during the first weekend of March, has been rescheduled to April 9-10 due to the racetrack being unable to open under the state of New Mexico's COVID-19 public health order.

After an open practice on Thursday, April 8, the racing action will kick off on Friday night, April 9, with a $2,000-to-win event for USRA Modifieds plus a $500-to-win event for USRA B-Mods, $500-to-win event for Medieval USRA Stock Cars and a $250-to-win payday for INEX Legends.

All four divisions will compete again in another complete program on Saturday night, April 10, with the only change being that the USRA Modifieds will compete for a $3,000 winner's purse. The B-Mods and Stock Cars will each race for $500 to win and Legends will once again chase a $250 payday.

Both nights will see a 7:30 p.m. start time and each event will be streamed live at WatchFYE.tv so fans unable to be at the track in person will still have an opportunity to watch their favorite racers compete.
