Vado Speedway Park 2021 schedule released

The staff and management of the Vado Speedway Park in Vado, New Mexico, are excited to release a 40+ event schedule for 2021 which will kick off in late February and conclude in late November, giving fans and racers events across 10 months to enjoy racing action at the state-of-the-art facility nestled on I-10 just between El Paso, Texas, and Las Cruces, New Mexico.

The schedule will kick off during the final Saturday of the month of February (February 27) with the Season Opener followed by the return of the Winter Meltdown during the first weekend of March featuring a pair of events on Friday and Saturday, March 5-6.

Racing action highlighted by the Summit USRA Weeky Racing Series featuring USRA Modifieds, USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods will continue weekly on Saturday nights all summer.

Several big events are on the schedule, including Friday and Saturday, April 9-10, when the USRA Modifieds join the NOS Energy Drink World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series for a huge two-night event.

On Saturday and Sunday, May 29-30, USRA B-Mods will join the newly-formed POWRi 360 Winged Sprint Car Series for two nights over the Memorial Day Weekend, and Saturday, July 10, will be the annual MVT Fireworks Night with a spectacular fireworks display and racing action from the USRA Modifieds, USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods.

The USRA Fall Nationals return October 22-24 with three nights of action-packed racing. USRA Modifieds, USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods will highlight the mega-weekend.

Fans will have the opportunity to meet their favorite drivers in July as the track will features a pair of Meet the Drivers Nights, where fans will get to go onto the front stretch at intermission and meet their favorite racers on July 24 and July 31.

Another fan favorite will return to the 2021 schedule as the track will feature a Topless Night where Modifieds and B-Mods will run without roofs September 25.

A new addition to the schedule for 2021 is the Hot City Nights promotion. If fans have a valid driver’s license from the town/city that is listed on the schedule, they will be admitted into the grandstand for just $5 on that night.

Additionally, the track will feature a Military Appreciation Night, First Responder’s Appreciation Night and College Night, where anyone with a valid id will be admitted FREE on their night.

Assuming the State of New Mexico allows mass gatherings in early 2021, this is our anticipated schedule of events and additional promotions are being planned as well, so fans should keep tuned in to vadospeedwaypark.com throughout the next few months for additional details.
