Mark Rogers/Butch Reid Jr. Memorial this weekend at Route 66 Motor Speedway


This weekend it’s going down with a two-day spectacular. The last event of the wild 2020 season is here with the Mark Rogers/Butch Reid Jr. Memorial this Friday and Saturday, September 18-19, at the Route 66 Motor Speedway in Amarillo.

Below is all the information you will need. Tickets are available at Amarillo Offroad during business hours, online at https://www.myracepass.com/tracks/2462 or at the gate on race days.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 18

USRA Limited Mods – Will run 2 heat races to accumulate total points. Everyone will draw for 1st heat starting position. If you draw 1-50 for first heat, will draw 51-100 for 2nd heat. If draw 51-100 for 1st heat will draw 1-50 for 2nd heat. Top 12 in passing/finishing points will be locked into Saturdays A main. 13-24 will be locked into B-Main, All other cars will go to C-Main(s) depending on car count (See chart below for point system)

USRA Modifieds – Will be a 1 day complete show. Draw in for heats. Top 12 locked into A from heats, Top 8 in passing/finishing points will be redrawn by computer. If more than 20 cars, will run B Feature, top 8 to A Main.

USRA Limited Mods – Will transfer 12 cars to B-Main out of C-Main(s) depending on car count. Will transfer 10 out B-Main to A-Main. A-main will be a 24 car field. 23rd position will be track provisional and 24th will be auctioned off. A-main will be 50 laps.
