Pause button hit on 2020 season at Chateau Speedway

Chateau Speedway is disappointed to announce that they have to hit the pause button on the 2020 racing season for at least one week.

This does not mean the rest of the season is automatically cancelled but there will be no racing this Friday, August 21.

A complaint was filed with the State of Minnesota about the track's COVID-19 policy. The track will be taking this next week to update that policy and look at other options and measures that can be taken.

“I would really like to say we can be open on the 28th but that is not guaranteed,” said track owner Mark Wytaske.

Use of social media and the chateauspeedway.com will be limited during the duration of the state's involvement with our facility except to post events. This will be on a week-by-week basis. Word of mouth by fans and drivers will be relied upon during this time to help pass the word on the future dates each week.

Chateau Speedway thanks our loyal fans and drivers during this time. We look forward to seeing everyone back out at the track soon.
