Tyler Wolff was committed to the mantra of "ride high where few try" from the onset of the the Cowboy 100 Proof at the Red Dirt Raceway on Friday but not before early leader Brooks Strength set a torrid pace after starting from the pole position.

Strength ran flawlessly in the low groove until a broken driveshaft sent him pit side on lap 35 and allowed "Big Daddy" Joe Duvall to inherit the lead.  Duvall followed the direction of Strength to hug the low line while ninth-starting Wolff was building momentum on the high side of the 1/4-mile raceway.

A mid-race battle ensued and Wolff took the lead on lap 53 and held the point until a lap-61 restart following a scheduled competition red flag for fuel and adjustments.

Duvall meticulously worked the low line on the restart to regain the lead on lap 61. The next 12 laps showcased Wolff wowing the crowd by attacking the high side cushion that was inching closer and closer to the wall while Duvall ran the short way around the track to perfection in a side-by-side battle that officially showed Duvall as the leader until the winning pass by Wolff on lap 74.

Wolff stretched his lead on Duvall in lapped traffic to over eight seconds at the checkers as Wolff rode high for the duration of the event.

Sean Gaddis took the last podium spot while Randy Timms and 13th-starting Mark Smith rounded out the top five.
