Just when it looked like the record-breaking rainfall was in the rear-view mirror, Mother Nature sprang up to dump on the drivers, teams and fans at the Southern Iowa Speedway and forced the cancellation of Wednesday’s 12th Annual Summer Classic presented by Keyser Manufacturing.

The event, held during the annual Southern Iowa Fair, was slated to be a three-headed monster with the Arnold Motor Supply Iron Man Challenge featuring American Racer USRA Stock Cars and Out-Pace USRA B-Mods sharing the spotlight with the USMTS Modifieds.

The American Racer USRA Stock Cars presented by Medieval Chassis and Out-Pace USRA B-Mods presented by Pace Performance will team up again when the Arnold Motor Supply Iron Man Challenge invades the Rapid Speedway in Rock Rapids, Iowa, on Friday, August 23.
