Tight points battle awaits Lebanon racers

After two rounds of the Lebanon Midway Speedway championship chase the points battles are tight, and from an early forecast the weather might just cooperate for Round 3 on Friday.

In the Out-Pace USRA B-Mods, it's a dead heat between defending Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series National Champion Kris Jackson and defending Track Champion Sam Petty, each with a win and third-place finish.

Petty will get the chance to come from the back after winning last Friday night.

The battle for third is also tight as second-year B-Mod driver Mitchell Franklin has showm some muscle and sits just ahead of Tyler Knudtson.

Arkansas hard charger Kelly Hicks completes a tough top five with some good young talent behind.

Gates open at 5 p.m. with hot laps at 7, draw cut-off at 7:30 and racing action at 8 this Friday, April 19.

Adult grandstand admission is only $12 with discounts for seniors and members of the military. Adult pit passes are $30.

Racing also includes Street Stocks, Kidz Cruisers, Midwest Modifieds, Hornets and Pure Stocks.
