Lucas Oil Speedway season opener moved up one hour


Saturday's Lucas Oil Speedway's season-opening Big Adventure RV Weekly Racing Series program has been moved ahead one hour in anticipation of possible rain later in the evening.

"This will give us a better chance of getting the program in, if we do get weather moving into the area," Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Danny Lorton said.

Gates will open at 3 p.m. with the drivers' draw closing at 4:45 and drivers' meeting at 5. Hot laps are set for 5:30 p.m. and racing at 6:05.

The Warsaw Auto Marine & RV ULMA Late Models will be in the spotlight with a 25-lap, $1,000-to-win feature courtesy of Hickamo County Store. Also in action will be the Pitts Homes USRA Modifieds, O'Reilly Auto Parts Street Stocks and Ozark Golf Cars USRA B-Mods.
