First of six $1,000-to-win USRA Modified shows Friday at Humboldt


The Humboldt Speedway will feature USRA Modifieds six times during the 2019 racing season, and the first is this Friday, April 5, during the track's season opener.

All six shows will pay $1,000 to win and $100 to start. There's no entry fee, just your pit pass.

Drivers will earn both track and national points in the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series as well as the CP-Carrillo Central Region presented by MVT.

Gates open at 6 p.m. and racing gets underway at 8. Adult tickets are $10, seniors (65+) and military are $9, youth (6-12) are $5 and kids ages 5 and under get in for free. Pit passes are $35.

Also in action with the USRA Modifieds will be Rays Metal Depot B-Mods, Tumbleweed Street Stocks, Home Savings Bank Factory Stocks, Loves Travel Stop Midwest Mods and O'Reilly Auto Parts Sport Compacts.
