Racing returns to I-35 Speedway April 6


Racing returns to I-35 Speedway for opening night with the smell of spent racing fuel, sounds of engines revving, roar of the ground pounding, exhaust causing your seat to vibrate, smell and taste of fresh popcorn, taste of your favorite ice cold drink, invocation andfirst heat race... all next Saturday, April 6, at the I-35 Speedway in winston, Mo.

Fun, edge-of-your-seat excitement is back for another great season!

Gates open at 4 p.m., drivers meeting at 6, hot laps immediately after the meeting ending at 6:50 with racing starting at 7.

Admission prices are $15 to grandstands, $35 to pits, $12 for seniors (62+) and youth 18 and younger are free.

Headlining the action in the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series will be the USRA Modifieds, American Racer USRA Stock Cars and Out-Pace USRA B Mods. Local E Mods, Pure Stocks, Sport Compacts, Midwest Limited Late Models and Midwest Vintage Outlaws will also be racing.

Easy access to the track, the speedway is located at exit 64 off Interstate 35. Concessions available throughout the facility with sweet funnel cakes, cold beverages of your choice, large tenderloins, hot fries, walking tacos, hot dogs, hamburgers, all available for your dining pleasure. A fantastic place for dinner is the Trackside Bar and Grill overlooking turn 1. Always clean restrooms that would be pleasing to Mom and always free parking, where else would you be on Saturday night other than I-35 Speedway?

New in 2019, those in the pits can order hot food from the Trackside Bar & Grill and it will be delivered to the pit concession, the hot lap procedures, Midwest Limited Late Models and driver only trophy presentations after each feature, family and crew pictures will continue to be the end of the night, and the McCarthy Autogroup Race Recap with driver interviews. Just a reminder, the track may elect to move a canceled Saturday race to a better weather Sunday.
