Lucas Oil Speedway test ‘n’ tune pushed back to Sunday

Wet weather with the forecast of more rain and cool conditions to come on Saturday has forced Lucas Oil Speedway officials to delay its Open Test and Tune session until Sunday afternoon from 2-6 p.m.

"Saturday's forecast simply isn't good, but Sunday looks quite a bit better with lighter winds and abundant sunshine," Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Danny Lorton said. "I know everyone is eager to get an opportunity to do some testing and work some bugs out before the opener, so we've decided to simply push it back a day."

Drivers for each of the Big Adventure RV Weekly Racing Series classes: Pitts Homes USRA Modifieds, Out-Pace USRA B-Mods, O'Reilly Auto Parts Street Stocks and Warsaw Auto Marine & RV ULMA Late Models, plus any others from the region are invited to participate.

Grandstand admission is free and pit passes are $25 ($10 for ages 5 and under). Pit gates will open at 11 a.m. and there will be limited concessions behind the pit-side grandstand.

The season-opening program for the Big Adventure RV Weekly Racing Series Spring Opener presented by Benne Media is set for April 6. The 7th annual Lucas Oil MLRA Spring Nationals are April 12-13 with USRA Modifieds also on the card that weekend.
