Lakeside Speedway hosts Season Championships this Friday

Lakeside Speedway returns to action this Friday, Sept. 7, for Season Championships for the USRA Modifieds, Holley USRA Stock Cars and Out-Pace USRA B-Mods will special prizes up for grabs for the drivers as the regular race season comes to an end.

Heading into the final night of action, current points leaders are Mark Schafman (USRA Modifieds), Kevin Anderson (Holley USRA Stock Cars) and Tim Powell (Out-Pace USRA B-Mods).

The pit gate opens at 5 p.m. and spectator gates open at 530 with hot laps at 7:30 and racing getting underway at 8 p.m. Grand Nationals, Factory Stocks and E-Mods will also be on Friday's card.

General admission is $12, seniors (65+) and military are $10, kids (7-12) are $6 and children (6 & under) get in for free. Suites are $20 or $10 for kids (2-12). Pit passes are $30 and kids (6 & under) get in the pits for $10.

Lakeside Speedway is a 4/10-mile semi-banked dirt oval located at 5615 Wolcott Dr., Kansas City, KS 66109 (one mile west of I-435 (exit 18) on SR 5 (northwest of Kansas City)).
