Kenny Gaddis of Diana, Texas, snapped the three-race feature win streak of Triston Dycus of Waxahachie, Texas, on Saturday night at the Southern Oklahoma Speedway in Ardmore, Okla., during the Touring Outlaws Modified Series event.

Gaddis was able to fend off a strong challenge from C.A. Nix of Lawton who finished second with Dycus finishing third. Troy Taylor of Midlothian, Texas, was fourth while Colby Smith of Greenville, Texas, came in fifth.

Gaddis caught his break in the race when leader Mike Dillard of McKinney, Texas, was forced to leave the race with engine trouble under the hood of his USRA Modified. Gaddis later had a sizable lead chopped down when he began to run into the back of the field, but after he dealt with that he was in control.

After the race, Gaddis said that he will make the next TOMS event at Devil's Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas, on Aug. 18.

Heat rce victories went to Dycus, Billy Brierton. Bo Day, Taylor and Nix.

The TOMS gang will take next weekend off and will resume at the Devil's Bowl Speedway on Aug. 18 before heading back to the Superbowl Speedway in Greenville, Texas, on Saturday, Aug. 25, for a reschedule of the Hella Shrine Classic that rained out on July 28.
