Drivers and fans who have hungered for a major event for Out-Pace USRA B-Mods at Lucas Oil Speedway are getting their wish.

The Lucas Oil B-Mod Clash of Champions will be held Oct. 11-13 and run in conjunction with the Lucas Oil MLRA Fall Nationals. It will pay $3,000 to win and drivers are encouraged to be prompt in making plans to attend.

"There have been so may B-Mod drivers asking for a special event at Lucas Oil Speedway that we are going to give them their shot," Lucas Oil Speedway assistant General Manager Danny Lorton said. "We will be taking the first 100 pre-entries only. We know that it could draw more, but we want to start with 100 for the first one and then grow it from there, next year."

The Out-Pace USRA B-Mod division often attracts more than 50 cars in Lucas Oil Speedway's Big Adventure RV Weekly Racing Series, the largest of the four weekly divisions.

Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series national points will be awarded.

Pre-entry fee will be $150 with a deadline of Sept. 21 and $175 from then until the Sept. 28 final deadline. Look for the entry form at www.LucasOilSpeedway.com or email Danny Lorton at dlorton@lucasoilspeedway.com for more information.

The format of the Lucas Oil B-Mod Clash of Champions I will be:

October 11 - Open practice from 6-9 p.m. for Out-Pace USRA B-Mods and MLRA Late Models.

October 12 - Two rounds of Out-Pace USRA B-Mod heat races. Following the second round, the top 14 drivers in passing points will be locked into Saturday night's A Feature. A full Lucas Oil MLRA program will be held.

October 13 - "Alphabet" Mains will be held and the top 10 out of the B-Main will advance to the 40-lap A-Main headliner. Another full Lucas Oil MLRA program will be held and a season champion determined.
