Springfield Raceway falls to rain

An unexpected storm forced cancellation of the racing action at the Springfield Raceway on Saturday just as action was ready to begin with close to 90 cars in the pits.

The speedway will be back in action on Saturday, June 2, as the Out-Pace USRA B-Mods will compete in a $700-to-win feature presented by Reliable Chevrolet, along with USRA Modifieds, Midwest Modz, Legends and Pure Stocks.
