Jackson grabs Lebanon Midway Speedway season opener

Current Out-Pace USRA B-Mod national points leader Kris Jackson jumped to the early lead over polesitter Aaron Scroggins and never looked back in grabbing the season opener at The Lebanon Midway Speedway in Lebanon, Mo., on Friday night.

Scroggins was having a nice battle with Sam Petty when a flat tire sent him to the pits, but he charged back through the field when time ran out.

Defending track champion Tyler Brown, who finished every lap last season, suffered mechanical issues and was knocked down to the 17th-place finish after starting fourth on the grid.

Action was tight in the middle part of the pack. Dillon McCowan was making a strong charge after having to pit on the opening lap for a flat tire and restarted 17th before being caught up on a final lap melee.

Sam Petty keeps a strong run going with a solid second place after a great run lst week in Springfield, nipping Kris Jackson that night.

Action for The Out-Pace USRA B-Mods continues every Friday night through the first week of August before switching to Saturdays in September.
