Snodgrass tops North Central Arkansas Speedway action

With the end of the 2017 race season in sight at North Central Arkansas Speedway, drivers raced hard for every possible point as they tried to move up in the standings before season’s end.

In the Out-Pace USRA B-Mod feature it was Sawyer Crigler and John Briggs leading the field off of turn four to get the race started.

Crigler led Briggs back to the scoring line at the end of lap one but by the end of lap two Robbie Ewing moved into second place as the top three cars all drove to the very bottom of the track running single file.

A lap seven caution slowed the pace but Crigler maintained his lead over Ewing on the restart with the leaders still holding station on the very bottom of the track.

As the laps ticked off past the halfway point Jason Snodgrass kept his car in the upper groove, with the top three cars running three-wide through the corners on laps 13 and 14.

Snodgrass moved to the top of the scoresheet on lap fifteen and held off Crigler over the final laps to claim the feature win.
