Modified Blowout at U.S. 36 Raceway this Friday


On Target Guns & Ammo, U.S. 36 Raceway Drag Strip, Glass Doctor of St. Joseph and Boller Motorsports present the inaugural Modified Blowout this Friday night, June 30 at the U.S. 36 Raceway in Osborn, Mo.

USRA Modifieds will pay $1,000 to win, $500 for second, $225 for third, $200 for fourth, $190 for fifth, $180 for sixth, $165 for seventh, $145 for eighth, $125 for ninth and $110 for tenth with the 11th through 20th finishing positions paying $100.

Out-Pace USRA B-Mods will pay $700 to win, $400 for second, $225 for third, $190 for fourth, $180 for fifth, $165 for sixth, $150 for seventh, $125 for eighth, $110 for ninth and $100 for 10th with the 11th through 20th finishing positions paying $90.

Big money on the line will bring out the best that dirt track racing has to offer this Friday night.

After 26 years of community service as a firefighter, promoter Jon Boller would like to give back to those that serve. This Friday night for the Modified Blowout, all professional career firefighters, veterans, active military, law enforcement officers and senior citizens will receive free admission to the grandstands. Proper i.d. must be presented at the gate. This is Jon and Beth Boller’s way of saying thank you for your service to the community and our country.

Grandstand admission is $12 for adults, kids ages 7-12 are $6 and children ages 6 and under are free. Pit passes are $35 for adults, $25 for kids 6-10 years of age and children 5 and under are free.

The pit gate opens at 5 p.m., grandstands open at 6, drivers meeting is at 7 and hot laps begin at 7:30 with great racing action at 8 p.m.
