WARRENSBURG, Mo.—After a dramatic finish in last week’s main event, another huge night of racing awaits USRA Modified drivers on Midwest Coatings Race Night at Central Missouri Speedway this Saturday. The first race out of the gate will be the make-up event for the USRA Modifieds from the previously weathered out event from May 21st. This field is locked in as the qualifying heats were completed. However, any new USRA Modified drivers are welcome to compete in the all-new June 22nd program this Saturday.

In addition to USRA Modifieds, the Street Stocks, B-Mods, and Pure Stocks are also set to compete for championship points. This week’s order of events will be as follows: Pit gates open 4:30, admission gates open at 5, pill draw cutoff 6:15 (no passing points if driver checks in late), Pit Meeting 6:30, Hot Laps 7, Racing 7:30.

The USRA Modified make-up feature will roll out first, followed by heat races for the Pure Stocks, B-Mods, Street Stocks, and then the all new USRA Modified program begins with heat races. If there is a need for a B-Mod b-main event, it will be run before intermission. Next up will be the Pure Stock Main event followed by a USRA Modified B-main if it is needed. Next up will be the B-Mod main event, Street Stock Main event, and then the night will close out with the USRA Modified main.

Last week, 30 USRA Modifieds thrilled the crowd as drivers in the region continued to flock to the speedway for valuable USRA championship points and the guaranteed cash payout of $1,000-to-win and at least $160 just to start the feature! In reviewing last week’s USRA results, CMS had the biggest car count of the week for any USRA-sanctioned track throughout the country! Through ten events this season, CMS is averaging 27 USRA Modifieds per night.

This week’s action is expected to be another showdown of the best of the best from the MO-KAN region when it comes to USRA drivers making their way to CMS from central Kansas to mid-Missouri, to the Ozarks Region to North-Central Missouri. CMS’s is fortunate enough to have a physical location that allows for drivers from numerous geographically based areas to compete.

This week also marks the final week to add one more “weekly show” at CMS prior to the $5,000-to-win race over the Independence Day weekend. Drivers that compete at CMS at least two times during a “weekly” race program can save a significant amount on their Tom Wilson Memorial BBQ Bowl entry. There are just a few days for drivers to return their “early bird” entry forms for the huge two-day event. Early Bird entrants can also save money by completing and submitting their entry paperwork before the event.

All information regarding the upcoming 11th Annual Tom Wilson Memorial BBQ Bowl is readily available on the CMS website at www.centralmissourispeedway.net. Upon entering the website, click on the tab titled INDEPENDECE DAY WEEKEND SPECIAL EVENT INFO! Here you will find all details regarding the upcoming two-day special event, including order of events, payouts, car class info, event flyer, entry forms, and complete details in the event Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document!

Checks payable to Central Missouri Speedway. Mailed in entry must be post-marked by Monday, June 27th! CMS Officials will confirm driver appearances. Payment may also be made at the pit entrance. Same night entries are available both nights, but why not save yourself some money! Send in your Early Bird Entry and get at least two “weekly race appearances” in at CMS prior to deadline!
