Chateau Raceway suffers another rain-out

LANSING, Minn.—Light rain moved in mid-afternoon Friday and the radar wasn’t promising for any big breaks in the weather, so officials made the call early to cancel the night's scheduled racing at Chateau Raceway in Lansing, Minn.

As it turned out it was a good call as the rain did slow at times during the night but never enough that they would have been able to race.

That makes four nights that have now been wiped out by weather since the season opener, and when you add in the two-week delay to the start of the season because of weather that makes for six nights of action missed out on with only three nights of racing so far.

Action in six classes of cars including USRA Modifieds and Out-Pace USRA B-Mods will see what Mother Nature throws at them again next Friday night, June 10, with the first green flag scheduled for 7 p.m.
