CARB Night this Saturday at I-35 Speedway

WINSTON, Mo.—After a highly successful Kid’s Night this past week with 95 racecars in competition, I-35 Speedway turns it’s attention to Central Auto Racing Boosters (CARB) Night this Saturday, Aug. 8. There is something for everyone on this race night. CARB members can get in free to the grandstands by displaying their current membership card, and CARB will handout door prizes to the first 100 race fans.

For the USRA B-Mod drivers this will be a $1,000-to-win race thanks to the Kenny’s Tile Racing Bonus of $500 and another $100 from another sponsor. For all the racers they will have a chance to win the CARB Larry Kaster Driver Appreciation Award presented to one randomly selected driver in each class during intermission.

Additionally, there will be double features for the USRA Stock Cars and Midwest Outlaw Lightning Sprints as they make up features which have been moved from inclement weather on July 25.

In the USRA Modifieds, Dennis Elliott leads Darren Shaw by 82 points, Tim Eaton leads Randy Ainsworth in the USRA B-Mods by 141 and in the USRA Stock Cars Dean Wray leads Thomas Roberts by 80.

After the completion of the two make-up features the night will begin with heats for all weekly classes and the visiting Midwest Outlaw Lightning Sprints. After a short intermission for the presentation of the CARB Larry Kaster Driver Appreciation Award we will continue the night with the feature events for all the classes.

Make plans now to be at I-35 Speedway this Saturday night, where you get the most dirt track racing and fun entertainment for your money and "Racing At Its Best."

I-35 Speedway is located at exit 64 off Interstate 35 just north of Cameron, Mo. Gates open at 4:30 p.m., hot laps begin at 6:15 and racing starts at 7. Adults are $12, seniors (62 and over) $10, children 7-12 $6 and younger than 7 are free. Suites are $18 and pit passes are $30. The Trackside Bar and Grill will be open before, during and after the races for all your eating and drinking pleasures. See you there!
