LANSING, Minn.—The Chateau Raceway roared back to life after a week off in a race program presented by Rolling Green Fencing of Austin. Two drivers added to their win total and the USRA Modifieds had another exciting main event.

The KIK Graphics & Printing USRA B-Mods had another rough outing for their feature run. Only seven of the thirteen starters were around at the checkered flag. Kadden Kath was the early leader throughout all of the yellow flags. Five laps into the race Kylie Kath worked his way to second and challenged his younger brother for the lead.

Kylie Kath would take the lead on lap six and went on for his fifth win in a row and sixth of the season. Kadden Kath would finish in second with Josh Mattick third, Anthony Condit fourth and Jayden Larson finished in fifth.

The French’s Repair & Fabrication USRA Modifieds had another barn-burner of a main even again this week. Jason Cummins used his front row starting spot to take the early advantage. A yellow for debris on lap two would be the only yellow flag in the 25-lap race. Cummins held the lead with Darwyn Karau, Dustin Sorensen and Jacob Dahle not far behind.

Ninth starter Brandon Davis charged through traffic and entered the top five on lap four. Davis then zipped past Dahle for the fourth spot to conclude lap 4. Davis was up on the top of the cushion and drove past Sorensen for third on lap 5. Then Davis charged after second place Karau and bolted by him on lap 7.

At this time on lap 8, Cummins had a half a straightaway lead on Davis. Davis ran the treacherous top side and reeled in the leader on lap 13. Davis was right on Cummins but the cushion bit Davis on lap 14 and he just about got the wall in turn 4. Davis gathered his machine back up and closed back in on Cummins.

They were side-by-side on lap 15 and Davis drove by for the lead to conclude that lap. From there Davis led the rest of the way for his fifth win of the season with Cummins in second. Karau ended up third while Dahle was fourth and Sorensen was fifth.
