USRA Modifieds join OCRS Sprints this Friday at Red River Speedway

WICHITA FALLS, Texas—Red River Speedway would like to welcome the Sprint Car stars and cars of the AmeriFlex Hose & Accessories Oil Capital Racing Series (OCRS) for their first-ever visit to the high-banked, high-speed quarter-mile on Friday, July 31.

The event will also include a full program of heats and features for the high-powered USRA Modifieds, Limited Modifieds, Pro Stocks and Mini Stocks.

Race fans can take in this great night of racing for just $15 general grandstand admission (for ages 12-64). Kids ages 6-11 are $5, while ages 5 and under are free with adult admission. Seniors and active Military (with I.D.) are $12. All pit passes for all ages are $30.

The purse structure for USRA Modifieds is as follows:

In 2014, the total USRA Modified A-feature purse was $4,250. In 2015, the base purse is $4,290 and will be distributed as follows: $700 - 500 - 400 - 350 - 300 (5th) - 250 - 200 - 180 - 160 - 150 (10th) - 140 - 130 - 120 - 110 - 100...to start. However, if there are 21 or more Modifieds (in their respective divisions), then the total purse jumps from $4,290 to $5,180! The '21 and up' purse for the Modifieds is as follows: $700 - 500 - 400 - 350 - 300 (5th) - 250 - 225 - 200 - 190 - 180 (10th) - 170 - 160 - 150 - 140 - 135 (15th) - 130 - 125...to 24th. (Note 24 starters, not 20!)

Also, effective 7/31/15, for the remainder of the racing season, all RRS racing divisions will have a draw/redraw for heat race starting positions. There will be no more points inverts for any division.

Here are the top-line specifics for Friday, July 31:

- Pit Gates open by 5pm, Grandstands open at 6pm, RRS division Draw Cutoff at 7:15pm, with Racing by 8pm.

- Adult Grandstand (ages 12-64) tickets are $12. Seniors/Active Military (with I.D.) $8. Ages 6-11 are $5. All pit passes, all ages $30.
