Torres, Gallardo triumphant at El Paso Speedway Park

EL PASO, Texas --Friday night at the El Paso Speedway Park, Danny Rodriguez was putting in work early in the USRA Stock Car main event until Todd Froats came and stole the lead.

Later, with nine laps in, Robert Vega came to the front but slowed down and Jamie Torres passed him on lap 12 and would redeem himself for his first "W" of 2015.

Alex Gonzalez has stepped up his game this 2015 season in the USRA B-Mod division.

Gonzalez led the opening couple of laps with heavy competition behind him like Christy Georges-Barnett, Jimmy Ray, Jake Gallardo, John Carney Sr. and Paddy Rush.

Well, Gonzalez saw Georges pass for the lead until she broke.

One circuit later, Gallardo passed Gonzalez for the lead.

Gonzalez stayed strong to finish second, and Gallardo won the main event.
